Razor & Lacquer in Sundre, AB is inviting applications for the position of Barber. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must book appointments.
• The candidate must cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences.
• The candidate must shampoo customers’ hair.
• The candidate must shave and trim beards and moustaches.
• The candidate must provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages.
• The candidate must maintain and order supplies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio, performing hair care services in a well-organized environment and maintaining tools and equipment properly to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
