Bakery labourer

Calgary Italian Bakery Ltd. in Calgary, AB is seeking a self-motivated Bakery labourer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
• The candidate must transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
• The candidate must measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
• The candidate must remove filled containers from conveyors.
• The candidate must manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• The candidate must feed and unload processing machines.
• The candidate must check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• The candidate must assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be dependable.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a large volume bakery; bakers bake and sell fresh baked goods throughout the day and night, sometimes on weekends.
• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
