Quesnel Bakery Ltd. in Quesnel, BC is inviting applications for the position of Baker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, , 19:00 to 03:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• The candidate must bake mixed dough and batters.
• The candidate must prepare special orders.
• The candidate must supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
• The candidate must frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• The candidate must operate machinery.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a bake shop.
• The candidate should work in a large volume bakery; bakers bake and sell fresh baked goods throughout the day and night, sometimes on weekends.
• The candidate should work in a café operates more like a coffee shop than a traditional breakroom, emphasized with decorations such as bar stools and other lounge furniture.
