PRAIRIE FOOD PRODUCTS 2012 INC. in Regina, SK is seeking a self-motivated Baker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Morning, Evening, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• The candidate must prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must bake mixed dough and batters.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must prepare special orders.
• The candidate must supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
• The candidate must frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
• The candidate must draw up production schedules.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• The candidate must schedule staff.
• The candidate must inspect kitchen and food service areas.
• The candidate must operate machinery.
• The candidate must hire and dismiss staff.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a bake shop.
• The candidate should work in a large volume bakery; bakers bake and sell fresh baked goods throughout the day and night, sometimes on weekends.
• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
