ROC Society is situated in Port Hawkesbury, NS and is hiring a Baker to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Flexible availability required for: Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• The candidate must bake mixed dough and batters.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• The candidate must inspect kitchen and food service areas.
• The candidate must operate machinery.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must stock shelves and display areas.
• The candidate must price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list.
• The candidate must keep stock clean and in order.
• The candidate must bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery.
• The candidate must perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must unpack products received by the store and count, weigh, or sort items.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
