Automotive service technician

Okotoks GM ( Okotoks, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Automotive service technician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect motors in operation.
• The candidate must review work orders.
• The candidate must road test motor vehicles.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• The candidate must estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• Or equivalent experience.
