Automotive service technician apprentice

Toronto Truck Tire Centre in Etobicoke, ON is inviting applications for the position of Automotive service technician apprentice. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• The candidate must confirm findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace a unit.
• The candidate must discuss work with the supervisor.
• The candidate must inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
• The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
