Rowe Motors ,CARSTAR KINCARDINE ,CARSTAR PORT ELGIN 4. Industrial Sector: ( Kincardine, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Automotive mechanic. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must confirm findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace a unit.
• The candidate must inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must inspect motors in operation.
• The candidate must review work orders.
• The candidate must road test motor vehicles.
• The candidate must test automotive systems and components.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• The candidate must estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• The candidate must coach and instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be reliable.
