Automotive engine assembler

Now hiring: Automotive engine assembler at PRP Automotive in Maple Ridge, BC. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: , 09:00 to 17:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies.
• The candidate must assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products.
• The candidate must position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
• The candidate must fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment.
• The candidate must operate small cranes to transport or position larger parts.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
