Onroute Towing and Autobody in Hamilton, ON is inviting applications for the position of Automotive body painter. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports.
• The candidate must inspect repaired vehicles.
• The candidate must plan repair work to be performed.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
• The candidate must file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• The candidate must mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
• The candidate must hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers.
• The candidate must apply primers and repaint surfaces.
• The candidate must mix paint and blend and match colours.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
