Automation engineer

GNG Solutions in Edmonton, AB is seeking a self-motivated Automation engineer. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must conduct feasibility, design, operational and performance research on electrical generation and distribution networks.
• The candidate must design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment.
• The candidate must develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• The candidate must investigate electrical or electronic failures.
• The candidate will be responsible for conducting micro- or nanodevice simulations, characterization, process modelling, and integration to support the development of new electronic devices and products.
• The candidate must commission systems and components.
• The candidate must set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
