Job Description

  • The candidate must conduct audiometric tests and examinations.
  • The candidate must follow up with patients to ensure assigned remedial programs are correctly followed and completed.
  • The candidate must diagnose the degree and type of hearing impairment.
  • The candidate must provide information to patients and families regarding the nature, extent, impact, and implications of hearing loss and treatment.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be fluent in English.
  • The candidate must possess a master’s degree in a relevant field.

Work Setting

  • The candidate must work in diagnostic audiology to assess hearing function and interpret audiological test results.
  • The candidate must work in a hospital, medical facility, or clinic, including departments or outpatient centers focused on sports medicine, rehabilitation, or wellness.
  • The candidate must work in audiology services to take ear mould impressions, perform modifications, and ensure proper fit and comfort for clients.
  • The candidate must work in audiology services to select and orient hearing aids for clients, ensuring proper use, comfort, and optimal auditory performance.
  • The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
  • The candidate must work in audiology services to conduct audiometric testing, assess hearing levels, and provide accurate evaluations to support client care.
  • The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
