Now hiring: Attendant for persons with disabilities - home care at L'Étoile de Pacho-Réseau d'entraide pour parent d'enfant handicapé in Laval, QC. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment - Part time position. Flexible availability required for: Evening, Weekend, , 17:00 to 20:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must provide personal care.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
