Assistant cook

Grail Springs Wellness Retreat ( Bancroft, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Assistant cook. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Casual employment - Part time opportunity. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
