Arborist climber

Now hiring: Arborist climber at Foy Tree Care in Edmonton, AB. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• The candidate must read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must trim trees to achieve desired pruning objectives, such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, or vista pruning.
• The candidate must perform tree removal.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be punctual.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
