Apprentice motor vehicle mechanic

Canadian Tire Magog in Québec, QC is seeking a self-motivated Apprentice motor vehicle mechanic. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
• The candidate must repair and balance tires.
• The candidate must oversee apprenticeship training.
• The candidate must make minor adjustments and repairs as required.
• The candidate must inspect repaired vehicles.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
