Apprentice electrician

Panjaab Electrical Inc. in Mississauga, ON is inviting applications for the position of Apprentice electrician. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must install electrical controls and panel boxes.
• The candidate must replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must install underground wiring and cables.
• The candidate must design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations.
• The candidate must splice, join, and connect wires.
• The candidate must test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults for integrity of circuits.
• The candidate must determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations.
• The candidate must troubleshoot and isolate faults.
• The candidate must connect power to audio and visual equipment.
• The candidate must install surface mount and/or overhead cables.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
