Appliance service technician apprentice

B & C Appliance Service in Medicine Hat, AB is inviting applications for the position of Appliance service technician apprentice. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment.
• The candidate must prepare written estimates of repair costs.
• The candidate must refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts.
• The candidate must diagnose faults using testing devices.
• The candidate must repair electrical appliances and components.
• The candidate must replace faulty components.
• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment.
• The candidate must use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
