Apiary technician

Interlake Honey Producers Ltd. in Fisher Branch, MB is inviting applications for the position of Apiary technician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Seasonal employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
• The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
• The candidate must work with honey bees.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.

• The candidate must be a quick learner.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
