Apiary technician

Yves Garez Honey Inc in Nipawin, SK is seeking a self-motivated Apiary technician. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Overtime required, Day, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
• The candidate must interact with bees based on knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology, and caste system.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
