Apartment building maintenance worker

Manoir de l'Arbre Argenté in Lévis, QC is inviting applications for the position of Apartment building maintenance worker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment - Part time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• The candidate must perform minor repairs on appliances.
• The candidate must perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be resourceful.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a retirement home to provide care, support daily activities, and promote residents’ wellbeing.

Additional Information

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
