Amusement park attendant

Now hiring: Amusement park attendant at East Coast Amusements in Dieppe, NB. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, Overtime available, , 09:00 to 21:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must set up rides and amusements.
• The candidate must operate rides and amusements.
• The candidate must operate game booths.
• The candidate must perform maintenance on rides and equipment.
• The candidate must clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds.
• The candidate must collect tickets and fees, and rent or sell sports and accessory equipment.
• The candidate must assist patrons on and off rides.
• The candidate must secure and release safety belts and bars.
• The candidate must drive trucks, vans, and other vehicles to transport amusement rides, games, and other attractions to amusement sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in an amusement park to manage attractions, provide customer service, and ensure safety of visitors.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
