Accounts payable and receivable clerk

Conayt Friendship Society in Merritt, BC is seeking a self-motivated Accounts payable and receivable clerk. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must manage accounts receivable.
• The candidate must manage accounts payable.
• The candidate must prepare bank reconciliations.
• The candidate must invoice clients.
• The candidate must store, update, and retrieve financial data.
• The candidate must perform clerical duties, including maintaining filing and record systems.
• The candidate must prepare financial statements and reports.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in associations and non-profit organizations, a legal entity organized and operated for a collective, public or social benefit.
