Accounting technician

Boulons Abitibi / Équipements Hytex is situated in Val-d'Or, QC and is hiring a Accounting technician to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• The candidate must post journal entries.
• The candidate must prepare trial balances of books.
• The candidate must reconcile accounts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in an on-site customer service environment, such as an office or business location.
• The candidate should work in the private sector in any office or work area that is not open to the public in the ordinary course of business except by individual invitation.
