Accounting technician

GARIÉPY, GRAVEL, LAROUCHE, BLOUIN, CPA, S.E.N.C.R.L. in Québec, QC is seeking a self-motivated Accounting technician. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• The candidate must maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• The candidate must prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• The candidate must prepare tax returns.
• The candidate must reconcile accounts.
• The candidate must prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and administer contracts and other documents.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must possess a master’s degree in a relevant field.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
