Accounting technician

Abressa Canada Inc. is situated in Saint-Sébastien-de-Frontenac, QC and is hiring a Accounting technician to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must calculate fixed assets and depreciation accurately.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• The candidate must maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• The candidate must post journal entries.
• The candidate must prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• The candidate must prepare trial balances of books.
• The candidate must reconcile accounts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be bilingual.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in an on-site customer service environment, such as an office or business location.
• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
