Welder

A & A Green-House Shading Inc. is situated in London, ON and is hiring a Welder to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• The candidate must be knowledgeable in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• The candidate must operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• The candidate must fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• The candidate must operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air, AOC).
• The candidate must determine weldability of materials.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
• The candidate must start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
• The candidate must have welding experience.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
