Job Description
- The candidate must evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes.
- The candidate must interview clients to obtain employment history, educational background, and career goals.
- The candidate must interview clients, prepare case histories and assess presenting problems.
- The candidate must refer clients to appropriate external services.
- The candidate must identify barriers to employment and assist clients with job readiness skills, job search strategies, rΓ©sumΓ© writing, and interview preparation.
- The candidate must develop and implement counselling and intervention programs to assist clients in setting and achieving goals.
- The candidate must administer and interpret aptitude and interest assessment tests.
- The candidate must collect labour market information regarding job openings, entry requirements, skill requirements, and occupational information.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing established workers with information and strategies to address job dissatisfaction, navigate mid-career changes, and adjust to workplace transitions.
- The candidate must provide established workers with strategies for job retention and advancement within an organization.
- The candidate must prepare assessment, progress, follow-up and court reports.
- The candidate must liaise with community agencies or partners to coordinate services and provide referrals.
