ALAN FLEMING in Burnaby, BC is seeking a self-motivated Visiting homemaker. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be able to handle weights between 61 and 80 kg (133-176 lbs).
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have patience.
• The candidate must be honest.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
