Job Description
- The candidate must give access to computer networks.
- The candidate must report on the performance of computer systems and networks.
- The candidate must respond to users experiencing difficulties with computers and related systems.
- The candidate must consult user guides, technical manuals, and other resources to research and implement solutions.
- The candidate must provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
- The candidate must collect, organize, and maintain a problems-and-solutions log for use by technical support analysts.
- The candidate must participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
- The candidate must supervise other technical support workers in the group.
- The candidate must provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
- The candidate must set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- The candidate must perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
- The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
- The candidate must manage incidents.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
