Truck driver

SUPERB ENTERPRISES ( Calgary, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Truck driver. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must perform brake adjustments.
• The candidate must perform emergency roadside repairs.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
