Fastway Towing Inc. is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Tow truck dispatcher to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must perform general office duties.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems.
• The candidate must dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders.
• The candidate must follow up on issues with work orders.
• The candidate must operate radio equipment.
• The candidate must process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
• The candidate must record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
• The candidate must schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
