JJ Thai Massage Therapy LTD in Lethbridge, AB is inviting applications for the position of Thai massage therapist. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Shift, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain, and lower grade mobilizations.
• The candidate must apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body.
• The candidate must assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans.
• The candidate must explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients.
• The candidate must maintain records of treatments given.
• The candidate must massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
• The candidate must perform relaxation massage.
• The candidate must provide therapeutic foot massage.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a day spa to provide treatments, support clients, and maintain a professional and hygienic environment.
