Pemberton Valley Hardware and Building Centre in Pemberton, BC is inviting applications for the position of Supply chain supervisor. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
• The candidate must coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• The candidate must prepare and submit reports.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must train workers in duties and policies.
• The candidate must coordinate, assign, and review work activities.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
