Job Description
- The candidate must install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
- The candidate must install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
- The candidate must repair or replace single-ply roofing systems.
- The candidate must repair roofing systems.
- The candidate must apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
- The candidate must install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
- The candidate must install sheet metal flashings.
- The candidate must erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
