Roofer

EVERGREEN EXTERIOR LTD. ( Rocky View, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Roofer. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must repair roofing systems.
• The candidate must apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
• The candidate must install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must install sheet metal flashings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
