Retail store supervisor

Tipton’s Your Independent Grocer in Athabasca, AB is seeking a self-motivated Retail store supervisor. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise staff, including apprentices, stagehands, and design teams.
• The candidate must assign duties to sales workers.
• The candidate must hire and train staff or arrange for their training as required.
• The candidate must order merchandise.
• The candidate must authorize the return of merchandise.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate must sell merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
• The candidate must resolve issues that arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of workers.
