Retail sales associate

Sweetgrass General Store in Gallivan, SK is seeking a self-motivated Retail sales associate. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Morning, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

• The candidate must work in a gas bar.
