Residential construction painter

Dove Creek Painting LTD ( Courtenay, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Residential construction painter. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare, clean, and sand surfaces prior to painting.
• The candidate must repair cracks and holes in walls, floors, or surfaces.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• The candidate must erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
• The candidate must apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
