Now hiring: Receiving clerk at Produits Neptune in Saint-Hyacinthe, QC. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must schedule distribution of goods.
• The candidate must prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
• The candidate must assemble containers and crates.
• The candidate must inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documentation.
• The candidate must maintain internal record-keeping systems.
• The candidate must record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• The candidate must pack goods to be shipped.
• The candidate must unpack goods received.
• The candidate must affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments.
• The candidate must oversee loading and unloading of goods.
• The candidate must supervise material handlers and helpers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
