Machine operator - food and beverage processing

Groupe St-Hubert in Blainville, QC is inviting applications for the position of Machine operator - food and beverage processing. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day, Evening shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products.
• The candidate must perform corrective machine adjustments.
• The candidate must record production information.
• The candidate must observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must inform supervisors of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
• The candidate must make adjustments to process variables.
• The candidate must maintain a shift log of production and other data.
• The candidate must set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• The candidate must check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
