Long haul truck driver

ORCA Global Express Ltd. ( Aldergrove, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Long haul truck driver. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must have a valid passport.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must be willing to travel cross-border.
• The candidate must be willing to travel for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to travel overnight.
