Job Description
- The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
- The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
- The candidate must oversee apprenticeship training.
- The candidate must recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
- The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
- The candidate must manage their own company.
- The candidate must set up machines and equipment.
- The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
- The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
- The candidate must lead and instruct individuals.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

Work Site Environment
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate must be able to work at heights.
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
Work Setting
- The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
- The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
- The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
- The candidate must work in the installation process to set up large-scale, mixed-media constructions, often designed for a specific location or time period.
- The candidate must work in residential settings, performing tasks on one-, two-, and three-family dwellings.
- The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
- The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
