Industrial sheet metal worker

Malach Metal and Machining in Oak Bluff, MB is seeking a self-motivated Industrial sheet metal worker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Morning, Evening shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure and mark sheet metal according to templates.
• The candidate must operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
• The candidate must operate laser cutters.
• The candidate must inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications.
• The candidate must develop computerized pattern and layout.
• The candidate must inspect subcontractors’ work for quality and conformity with plans and specifications.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Site Environment

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in shop fabrication to cut, assemble, and finish materials according to specifications and quality standards.
• The candidate must work in on-site fabrication to construct or assemble products and structures at the project location.
