Comfort Inn and Suites Surrey is situated in Surrey, BC and is hiring a Human resources officer to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must identify current and prospective staffing requirements.
• The candidate must collect and screen applicants.
• The candidate must advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
• The candidate must review candidate inventories.
• The candidate must contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
• The candidate must recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions.
• The candidate must notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
• The candidate must advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
• The candidate must organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
• The candidate must determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
