Mohinder pal Singh Walia in Surrey, BC is seeking a self-motivated Home support worker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
