Marie and Joseph in Mont-Royal, QC is seeking a self-motivated Home support worker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Term or contractFull time employment. Required shifts: Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
