Job Description
- The candidate must troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
- The candidate must diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
- The candidate must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
- The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
- The candidate must test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
- The candidate must clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
- The candidate must perform repair work on heavy trucks.
- The candidate must service attachments and working tools.
- The candidate must verify and repair emission control systems.
- The candidate must perform other routine maintenance.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in French.
- The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
- Equivalent professional experience accepted.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
- The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
