General farm worker - harvesting

Érablière du Lac Turner Inc. in Pohénégamook, QC is seeking a self-motivated General farm worker - harvesting. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time position. The schedule involves Day, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available, , 07:00 to 16:00 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
• The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
