Job Description

The candidate must measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment.
The candidate must install and maintain meters, regulators, and gas lines between gas units and gas meters.
The candidate must repair and service gas appliances and related equipment.
The candidate must advise clients regarding standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.
The candidate must study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required.
The candidate must test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
The candidate must test and replace defective equipment or components.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
The candidate must be dependable.
The candidate must be a good team player.
The candidate should have an eye for detail.
The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
